Debbie DeMoss Compton, CCC, CCA, is a nationally recognized caregiver advocate, speaker, international bestselling author, and CEO of The Purple Vine. A three-time primary caregiver, Debbie combines professional expertise with lived experience to help dementia and chronic-illness caregivers reduce stress, prevent burnout, and rediscover joy. Debbie will focus her presentation on normal aging vs dementia.
Kathleen Gordon, MSW, CAI is an investigator for guardianship and conservatorship cases in Southern Arizona. A two time contributing author for The Caregiver’s Advocate Series. Kathleen combines her professional experience with the elderly along with her personal experience of caregiving to help caregivers ease the stress of a difficult situation. Kathleen will focus her presentation on the safety issues with seniors and possible solutions.
